Looking for a company that creates a direct market to those fishermen who offer fresh, sustainable, wild-caught salmon at some of the best prices available? You’ve found it with Kenai Wild Salmon Company. If you’re in the area—including the Fairbanks and Anchorage Airports—you can purchase whole salmon that have been bled-and-cleaned but are fresh from the ocean. You can also get this direct-market salmon sent to you filleted, sealed and frozen through a custom processor and FedEx overnight delivery. Whether you’re a local or living in the lower 48, Kenai Wild Salmon Company is a great choice and one of the few direct-market fishing companies out there today.

There’s just one problem for people who are looking for a regular source of fresh, direct market, and sustainable salmon. Because Kenai Wild Salmon Company only sells what their fishermen catch and because they’re so popular, their supplies typically only last a few short months out of the year. Their fishing starts sometime in June. Their sockeye red salmon isn’t available until July, and their Coho silver salmon isn’t available until August. When we visited their site in early November, they were already completely sold out of their catch from the year. As such, many people will buy from Kenai Wild Salmon during the late summer months and then switch to an alternate vendor when the supply runs out.
