Copper River Seafoods is the perfect outlet for people who are in search of the finest-tasting salmon in the world and for their own personal taste. Along with gillnet vs. troll-caught salmon, one of the debates about the best-tasting salmon in the world comes down to Bristol Bay vs. Copper River salmon.

Do you prefer salmon that’s sourced from the most protected and highly regulated waters in the world, or do you want large, strong salmon with extra fat content, the result of having to make the run up the Copper River? You won’t really know until you try them both, and Copper River Seafoods is the perfect outlet for this type of taste test.

Salmon is their main focus, but they also sell every major type of wild Alaskan seafood. So long as you place an order that’s big enough to justify the shipping cost, this is a great choice to buy multiple types of wild Alaskan seafood from a single source you can trust.

Quality and Sustainability

The company’s history is based in a cooperative effort between three major Copper River seafood companies that came together to promote and protect the unique quality of Copper River salmon under a single brand. Since then, the company has expanded to include brands and companies operating out of Bristol Bay and other Alaskan fishing waters.

All the seafood processed and marketed under the Copper River Seafoods brand has been certified by the Marine Stewardship Council, Responsible Fisheries Management (RFM), Global Food Safety Initiatives (GFSI), US Department of Commerce USDC Grade A Certification. This is one of the few large-scale fisheries that seem committed to selling only wild, sustainable seafood.
