Shipping
Lobster Gram uses UPS to ship their lobster throughout the continental U.S. They also ship frozen lobster products to Hawaii and Alaska. Deliveries are typically made by 5pm to businesses in commercial areas and by 8pm to residences. This timeframe can be shortened by option for Priority Overnight service.
Your shipping costs will depend on the total cost of your order and how quickly you want to receive the order. From least to most expensive, the options are Two Day, Overnight, Priority Overnight, and Saturday Delivery. As part of their guarantee that your lobsters will arrive alive, Two Day is not an option for live lobster delivery. Sunday and Monday delivery are not an option.
Finally, all orders must be placed and finalized at least 3 days before the expected shipment date.
Harvesting Methods and Holding Tanks
Their corporate offices and new warehouse facility are located in Chicago near the O’Hare Airport, but they source all of their fresh-caught, cold-water, Grade-A Maine lobster from their Biddeford location, outside of Portland.
